Northern California, from San Francisco to Big Sur, 2007

The main reason for traveling to Northern California was to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday. While there, we visited some of my old haunts in Berkeley and San Francisco. We then headed south towards the Pacific coast, visiting Gilroy, Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. The trip was short. While we only hit a few of the high lights, leaving much to be seen on future trips, we did manage to attended a Halloween Masquerade Ball and stayed in a yurt.
